Music production software Live and Push
Ableton is a Berlin-based company that makes Live, a digital audio workstation, and Push, a hardware instrument designed to control it. Its tools are aimed at producers, performers and beginners who want to write, record and perform music on a computer. Live is known for its Session View, which lets musicians launch clips and loops in real time alongside a conventional arrangement timeline. Recent releases add Link Audio for sharing sound between devices and refreshed built-in effects such as Delay. Ableton also publishes free tutorials and a beginner course built around Live Lite, the entry-level edition.
