The backend platform that keeps your app in sync
Convex is a reactive backend platform for developers building web and mobile apps, including teams that work alongside AI coding agents. It bundles a database, server functions, sync, search and file storage into one service, all written in TypeScript. Queries in Convex are reactive, so app data stays current on every client without hand-written subscription code. Writes run as ACID transactions, which protects data when many changes arrive at once. Because schema, functions and client code share one language, there is little glue code between layers, and new projects can be scaffolded from the command line with npm.
