Run your apps close to users worldwide
Fly.io is a cloud platform for developers who want to run applications in data centers close to their users. Apps are packaged as containers and deployed to regions around the world from a command-line tool. The core building block is Fly Machines, hardware-virtualized containers that start very quickly and can stop when idle. Fly.io also offers Sprites, isolated environments where AI-generated or untrusted code can run safely and be checkpointed and restored, with billing based on CPU and memory actually used. Storage options include local NVMe volumes and globally distributed object storage, along with managed Postgres.
