Check if your email was in a breach
Have I Been Pwned is a free data breach search service that lets anyone check whether their email address appears in known breaches. It is used by individuals as well as security teams, developers and managed service providers who need to understand their exposure. Searching an address returns a timeline of the breaches it was found in and what kind of data was exposed, and users can sign up for alerts when it turns up in a newly loaded breach. Organizations can verify and monitor their own domains, and an API lets developers build breach checks into their products. The service was created by security researcher Troy Hunt and draws on billions of leaked records.
