Email and calendar with a different philosophy
HEY is a paid email and calendar service from 37signals, the company behind Basecamp. It is aimed at people who feel overwhelmed by conventional inboxes and want more control over who can reach them. The defining feature is the Screener: the first time someone writes to you, their message waits until you decide whether to accept or block that sender. Accepted mail goes to the Imbox, reserved for messages that matter, while newsletters and receipts are routed to separate areas called The Feed and Paper Trail. HEY also blocks tracking pixels and includes its own calendar. The result is an opinionated alternative to Gmail and Outlook that rethinks how email is sorted.
