Open-source API development ecosystem
Hoppscotch is an open-source API development tool for building, sending and testing requests, often used as a lightweight alternative to Postman. It is aimed at developers and teams who work with APIs daily and want a fast tool they can also host themselves. It runs in the browser, as a desktop app and from the command line, and supports REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, Server-Sent Events and other real-time protocols. Requests can be organized into collections, parameterized with environments and shared across team workspaces. Because the code is open source, organizations can deploy their own instance and keep API data on their infrastructure.
