An open marketplace for indie games
itch.io is an open online marketplace for independent games and other digital creative work. It serves both indie developers who want an easy way to publish and sell their games and players looking for unusual titles beyond the large storefronts. Creators can upload games, set their own prices or let players pay what they want, and choose how much of each sale goes to the platform. The site is home to many game jams, bundles and seasonal sales. A desktop app installs and launches purchased games, and a command-line tool called butler lets developers push new builds. Besides games, itch.io also hosts assets, tools, comics and books.
