Monetize your software with ease
Polar is a merchant of record and billing platform for developers who sell software, including AI products. It handles payments, subscriptions and usage-based pricing, and takes care of international sales tax so small teams do not have to manage it themselves. A notable part of Polar is metered billing: usage events such as tokens, agent runs or GPU time are recorded as they happen, aggregated into per-customer meters in real time, and then appear on invoices using whatever pricing model the seller defines. Polar is open source, which lets developers inspect how the platform works.
