Useless Ads is the internet's most honest ad platform. A ridiculous little experiment where founders, indie hackers, creators, and anyone with a URL can advertise for just $0.99/week. Here's how it works: - 50 advertising spots in total. - 35 ads displayed at a time, with regular spots rotating every 3 seconds. - Real views and clicks, with basic analytics. - Rarity badges that become increasingly ridiculous the longer your ad stays active. - Optional upgrades and the Useless Podium, where advertisers compete to become the biggest Top Waster. No guaranteed traffic. No promised conversions. No fake marketing miracles. Just a tiny advertising board testing whether people will pay a few cents for something simple, funny, and potentially useful. Built as an indie side project and an ongoing experiment in product-led growth and organic distribution. Pay cents. Get a pixel. Expect nothing.

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Francisco, the maker behind Useless Ads. I built this as a small experiment around a ridiculous question: would people actually pay $0.99/week to advertise something when the platform explicitly promises them nothing? 50 spots, rotating ads, real views and clicks, and increasingly ridiculous rarity badges. The product works.
