Hardware security keys for strong login
Yubico is the company behind the YubiKey, a hardware security key used for strong authentication. Its products serve individuals protecting personal accounts as well as businesses and governments securing employee access. A YubiKey connects through USB or NFC and works as a phishing-resistant second factor or as a passkey, supporting standards such as FIDO2, WebAuthn and smart card authentication. No software or batteries are needed. Yubico also offers services for deploying keys across an organization and tools for identity verification, and has introduced keys prepared for post-quantum cryptography.
