The web framework for content-driven sites
Astro is an open-source JavaScript web framework built for content-driven websites such as blogs, documentation, marketing pages and online stores. It also supports server-rendered apps and API endpoints. Astro ships as little JavaScript as possible by default and uses an islands architecture, where only interactive components are hydrated in the browser. Content can come from local Markdown files, external APIs or a headless CMS. Developers can bring components from React, Vue, Svelte and other UI libraries, and deploy to static hosting or server environments.
