One toolchain to format and lint your code
Biome is an open-source toolchain for web projects that formats and lints JavaScript, TypeScript, JSX, JSON, CSS and related languages. It is aimed at developers who want one fast tool in place of separate formatter and linter setups. Biome is written in Rust and is designed to be largely compatible with Prettier formatting while running much faster. It can format code even when it contains syntax errors, and its linter reports detailed diagnostics that explain each problem and how to fix it. It runs from the command line, in editors and in CI, and can be tried in an online playground.
