Open-source API client that lives in Git
Bruno is an open-source API client for testing and exploring APIs, covering REST, GraphQL, WebSocket and gRPC. It is positioned as a local alternative to Postman for developers who prefer to keep their work offline. Bruno saves collections as plain-text files in your project folder, so requests can be versioned with Git, reviewed in pull requests and edited in any IDE. There is no required cloud sync or account. Because collections are just files, they are easy for coding agents and other tools to read and update, and teams share them through their normal repository workflow.
