Open-source screen recording for everyone
Cap is an open-source screen recording app available on Mac, Windows and Linux, often described as an alternative to Loom. It is for teams and creators who want to record, edit and share screen videos quickly. Cap offers three modes. Instant Mode uploads while you record and places a share link on your clipboard as soon as you stop. Studio Mode records locally in high quality for polishing in the built-in editor, and Screenshot mode captures still images. Because the code is open source, teams can also self-host their own storage.
