Monitoring and security for cloud apps
Datadog is a monitoring, observability and security platform for engineering and operations teams running cloud applications. It collects metrics, traces and logs from servers, containers, databases and services so teams can see how their systems behave. The product is split into many modules, including infrastructure and network monitoring, application performance monitoring, log management, database monitoring, error tracking and cloud cost management. Data from these areas is correlated in shared dashboards and alerts, which helps teams trace an incident from a slow request down to the host or query behind it. Security features cover threat detection and sensitive data scanning.
