Fast, lightweight web framework on web standards
Hono is a small, fast web framework for JavaScript and TypeScript built entirely on Web Standard APIs. It is used by developers building APIs and web apps that need to run on edge platforms and server runtimes alike. The same Hono code can run on Node.js, Deno, Bun, Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Compute, Vercel and AWS Lambda without changes. It includes a very quick regular-expression-based router and a minimal preset that keeps bundles under 14 kB. Hono ships with built-in middleware and helpers, supports custom and third-party middleware, and puts strong emphasis on TypeScript, with type inference that carries route definitions through to clients.
