Self-hosted photo and video backup
Immich is an open-source app for backing up and managing photos and videos on a self-hosted server, often described as an alternative to Google Photos. It is aimed at people who want to keep their personal media on their own server rather than in a commercial cloud. Mobile apps for iOS and Android back up photos and videos automatically to the user's server, and a web interface lets them browse, search and organize the library. Immich includes features such as albums, timeline views, sharing, face recognition and search based on image content, with processing done on the user's own hardware. Keeping everything self-hosted gives users full control over storage and privacy.
